The Story Behind Fabraz
Founded in 2014, Fabraz is an indie studio run by a global team of developers who share one mission: to create games bursting with creativity, fun, and heart. Over the years, they’ve built a catalog of beloved indie titles including Slime-san (a retro-inspired 2D platformer) and Demon Turf (a stylish 3D adventure).
Beyond development, Fabraz is also deeply involved in the indie scene. They’ve helped publish Skellboy and SpiritSphere DX, and contributed to programs like ID@Xbox, Indie World, and Games4Change, while serving as IGF judges and members of Forbes 30 Under 30.
Diving into Demon Tides

During our interview at PAX East 2025, Fabraz gave us a closer look at Demon Tides, a brand-new adventure following Beebz, the spunky demon girl fans fell in love with in Demon Turf. This time, Beebz takes to the high seas on a journey across Ragnar’s Rock, exploring sunken secrets, ancient ruins, and her own path of self-discovery.
The game invites players to set sail, explore freely, and master an expressive platforming system that rewards creativity. Whether you’re gliding across islands, scaling massive towers, or racing other players’ ghosts, every move you make feels fluid, fun, and uniquely yours.
And don’t worry, you don’t need to play Demon Turf first. Demon Tides is a fresh story designed for newcomers, while still packed with references and callbacks that longtime fans will love.
What Makes Demon Tides Shine

Demon Tides pushes the concept of “expressive platforming” to the next level, letting players chart their own course across an open ocean filled with hidden challenges, talismans, and treasures.
Here’s a glimpse of what awaits:
- Expressive Move-Set – Combine moves in creative ways to reach new heights and uncover secrets.
- Open-World Exploration – Sail freely between islands and uncover every hidden nook.
- Floating Fashionista Hub – Chill with your crew, shop for upgrades, and customize your style.
- 50+ Talismans – Unlock powerful tools like gliders, hookshots, and bubble floats to shape your own playstyle.
- 50,000+ Outfit Combos – Mix headgear, outfits, and dyes to perfect your Beebz drip.
- Global Races – Compete with other players’ ghosts for the best times and reclaim your top spot.
- Graffiti System – Leave your mark in other players’ worlds with messages, hints, or a little chaos.

It’s a game built for explorers, speedrunners, and anyone who loves stylish platformers with heart.
Fabraz’s Legacy of Indie Greatness
Before Demon Tides, Fabraz gave us Demon Turf, a creative 3D platformer filled with sass and challenge, and Slime-san, a fast-paced 2D adventure beloved for its precision and humor. They’ve also created Cannon Crasha and Planet Diver, and helped publish Skellboy and SpiritSphere DX, further expanding their indie influence.
Bubsy 4D: Fabraz Teams Up with Atari

In addition to Demon Tides, Fabraz has teamed up with Atari to bring back one of gaming’s most infamous mascots, Bubsy. That’s right, the wise-cracking bobcat is back in Bubsy 4D, a brand-new intergalactic platforming adventure that combines nostalgic charm with Fabraz’s signature expressive gameplay.
Players join Bubsy as he blasts off into space, exploring craft-themed planets, battling robotic sheep, and collecting endless yarn. The mischievous Woolies have turned Earth’s sheep into mechanical BaaBots, and it’s up to Bubsy and his crew to take them down and reclaim the Golden Fleece.

Fabraz’s influence shines through the game’s deep movement system, offering new ways to jump, glide, roll, and claw your way across colorful levels. The hairball form lets Bubsy roll at high speeds, adding new depth for both casual players and speedrunners.
Bubsy 4D Highlights:
- Explore intergalactic, craft-themed worlds packed with secrets and boss battles.
- Master a new hairball form to roll, bounce, and launch through levels.
- Experience an expressive move-set built for beginners and advanced players alike.
- Collect yarn to unlock stylish outfits or find hidden blueprints for new abilities.
- Tackle time trials, upload your best runs, and race against other players’ ghosts.
- Enjoy a funky, jazz-infused soundtrack by Fat Bard.
It’s an unexpected yet fitting collaboration, combining Fabraz’s passion for movement and humor with Atari’s classic mascot, breathing new life into a franchise that’s ready to pounce again. Check out more on the Bubsy 4D Steam Page.
