Steam Next Fest June 2026 is underway, bringing hundreds of upcoming games to Steam through free demos, developer livestreams, and first looks at projects still in development. Running from June 15 to June 22, the event gives players the chance to try games before release, discover new developers, and build out their wishlists. This All Ages of Geek showcase highlights a collection of indie game trailers from this year’s event, featuring everything from horror and action to cozy simulators, roguelikes, co-op adventures, and story-focused experiences.
What Is Steam Next Fest June 2026?
Steam Next Fest is also a chance to see what developers have been working on through a huge collection of new trailers. While demos are a major part of the event, trailers often provide the first look at upcoming mechanics, stories, art styles, and gameplay ideas before players ever download a demo. For indie studios, the event offers an opportunity to introduce their projects to a larger audience, while players can browse a wide range of upcoming games and decide which ones they want to follow ahead of release.

Why Steam Next Fest June 2026 Is Worth Browsing
Steam Next Fest is one of the few events where you can jump between completely different types of games in a single session. You might spend a few minutes surviving a horror demo, then switch over to managing a coffee shop, hunting monsters with friends, running a tiny supermarket, or bouncing up a mountain as a frog.
Not every demo will be a perfect fit, and that’s part of the appeal. Steam Next Fest June 2026 gives players a chance to experiment, wishlist upcoming releases, and discover indie games they may never have found through trailers alone.
