Now that was well written and an enjoyable read.
And the short reactions in the videos were adorable.
I’m not a big shipper as far as anime or cartoons go. But bumblebee is one that I do. However I want it to happen naturally. If Monty (rest in peace) had always planned or hoped to write it that way. Making them a ship simply because the fans of RT and RWBY wanted it, is not a ship to me. I like natural relationships to develop.
I cried a lot when Blake and Yang were huddled together after the fight.
So, youtube comments got shut down for the announcement of this, so ill leave this post here.
1. No timestamp so that we know where in the vid u actually are, and since u don’t have the episode showing we can’t properly follow it(having no video is also a bad mobile expirience, i need to split my screen to have kats reaction and the episode playing)
2. Are your thoughts about the episode just completely paywalled off for us now? I love watching reactions and seeing what peoples thoughts on the episode are, but now I’d have to pay to actually see that part, even tho the reactions are a month old by the time we get them.
3. YT thumbnail has Adam’s death in it, which is a big spoiler. That’s always a no-no in my opinion.
I’m not gonna lie, I’m super disappointed with the path this channel has been going down. Despite being told “Reaction videos will be coming back in FULL on AAOG in a finalized format that is fair-use but also reasonable for our editing team to produce,” just a month later you guys have already gone back on this. The RWBY videos now have no audio, video, nor timer. So it has actually gotten worse.
I truly hope there is a good reason for this, but it’s really coming off as “paywall content.” Obviously you have been doing other things on Youtube; but you have now left those who have been watching for years in the dark. I don’t mind using the website for content, but it’s not even worth it with this level of editing. I’ve been watching since you uploaded the red trailer, but I honestly cant find any enjoyment with this current format.
I really hope the team behind this community are taking things such as this into consideration. It’s not meant to be mindless hate. I truly enjoyed watching these RWBY reactions throughout the last year. I just cannot agree with the current direction it has been taken.
Maybe this will never be seen, but I’ll post it anyway.
