Hello everyone MinaRose2023 here, today I’m gonna be writing about Fanfiction.
It is no surprise that one thing that helps us keep our Geeky culture is writing Fanfiction. Many people have done it through many years since 1967 with the Star Trek fanzine Spocknalia. It’s incredible to see how much Fanfiction has evolved and included through out the years.
Fanfiction has been a way for fans to continue stories, create new worlds, and express their love for their favorite books, movies, anime, games and much more.
I believe that preserving Fanfiction is important. It creates a way to keep fandoms alive even those that are extremely small.
We must support creators of all fan arts and geeky things. Including Fanfiction authors. Please remember to leave comments and kudos to your favorite authors these help them know you liked their effort and time put to their stories.
Remember Fanfiction authors do this on their own free time with no monetary gain. Their only form of gratitude is comments and kudos.
Another thing to note about fanfiction in Japan we got the Dojinshi. These are fan made mangas based on anime, manga and video games from established franchises in Japan.
In other words theirs no limit to the ways in which we can create fanfiction. From fan zines, websites, archives and more. I hope we may continue to write Fanfiction for many years to come and to preserve our fandoms , stories and much more!
