Unleash Your Power Level Over 9000, Again!
Greetings, Saiyans, Earthlings, and the occasional Namekian! Drop your Senzu beans and lend me your ears because Bandai Namco is about to make you go Super Saiyan with excitement. The Dragon Ball: The Breakers game is dishing out its Season 4 trailer. What’s the fuss about, you ask? Only the addition of Broly as a raider. Yeah, that’s right, the Legendary Super Saiyan himself.
Say it with me: B-R-O-L-Y!
Look, you don’t add Broly to a game unless you’re ready to turn things up to 11—or in this case, over 9000. This walking powerhouse is ready to join the Raider roster and let’s just say, if you thought dealing with Cell, Buu, or Frieza was tough, well, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
New Skins Who Dis?
But wait, there’s more! Survivor skins for Cheelai, Lemo, Bulma (in a snow suit, for some reason), and Mr. Satan are also making their debut. I can already hear the Hercule chants echoing through the Dragon Ball cosmos.
Anniversary Updates and Freebies!
The first-anniversary updates aren’t just confetti and a Happy Birthday song from King Kai. We’re getting a Dangerous Ground map, in-game t-shirts and stamps, and a bunch of new customizable items for the in-game shop. Oh, and did I mention a teaser for Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta? Because that happened.
A Quick Flashback
If you’ve lost track because you’ve been stuck in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, let me update you. Season 3 introduced the Ginyu Force as a raider, and some frosty new skins and a Snowy Mountain map. Season 2 gave us Vegeta as a raider, with Yajirobe and King Furry as survivor skins. That’s right, Yajirobe, the unsung hero who once cut off Vegeta’s tail, is a survivor skin. Take that, Saiyan pride!
Survivor Mode: Not Just for Z Fighters
The Breakers game is a unique beast, with seven ‘normal’ Survivors facing off against one Raider who takes the form of iconic Dragon Ball characters. Survivors aren’t packing Kamehamehas; they’re armed with items, weapons, and vehicles. So, yes, your mission is to find the Super Time Machine and get the heck out of dodge while dodging ki blasts and gigantic energy spheres.
