We had the pleasure of editing one of the trailers for Blood Tulip, and we’re very grateful to have been part of helping promote the film. A special thank you to Brandi Aguilar, who appears in the movie as Helga. Brandi is also part of our series I Married a Monster on a Hill as Frannie, which made this even more special for us. Be sure to check out the trailer and show some love to Blood Tulip.
Blood Tulip was a really fun watch. The cast had great chemistry, everyone played off each other well, which helped both the creepy moments and the lighter ones land better. Nothing felt flat, and that made it easy to stay pulled into the story.
The setting also did a lot for the film. It actually helped shape the mood and gave the story a stronger identity. The world around the characters felt rich and unsettling in the right ways, which made the danger feel more real.

One of the best parts was the movie mixed comedy with horror. It had moments that were fun and a little weird, but it also knew how to make things tense. That balance kept it interesting the whole way through. Just when things started feeling a little playful, the film would swing right back into something dark and uncomfortable, and that kept me locked in.
Starla and Tess were also one of the strongest parts of the movie. Their dynamic gave the story an emotional center, and it made everything happening around them hit harder. You want to keep watching because you care about what happens to them, not just because of the mystery and scares.
