We Interviewed Voice Actor & Youtuber ArnoldStark123!

We had the pleasure of chatting with ArnoldStark123 all about his work as a voice actor! You can also check out his youtube channel to learn more!

1.What initially drew you to pursue a career in voice acting?

A very simple story actually I grew up watching a lot of animated movies and shows and played a lot of games that had a lot of dialogue and talking and whenever I would open my mouth it would always be to impersonate other voice actors that I’m watching on screen one of them was Tom Hanks as Woody when I did my voice impersonation it sounded like a younger version of him until I realize that I was actually impersonating his brother Jim Hanks who voices Woody and other Toy story related projects My biggest inspiration to really get into voice acting was Roger Craig Smith playing Sonic the hedgehog I know not a lot of people were a fan of him when he was announced to play the character but I was hooked into the idea and the more I kept hearing his voice the more inspired I felt and it made me want to become a voice actor even today

2. Could you share a favorite or memorable project that you’ve worked on? What made it special?

Calling certain projects a favorite would be an understatement A current project I’m working on is a series called Sonic Heroes X an animated episodic action comedy series based on the Sonic franchise with new characters on the side fighting a man and teaming up with and fighting alongside other Sega characters from Sonic and sega’s entire history I voice a decent majority of characters some of them will not be named until the actual first few episodes release

3. Do you feel a personal connection to the characters you voice, and if so, how does that influence your performance?

Some of the characters in the series that I voice I do have somewhat of a connection with one of the main characters of the show is nuname kirinski a main character of the series who I will not fully explain until the show actually releases there are also other characters that I voice that I do have a connection with mainly because of the fact that they were a part of projects that I grew up with again I will not spoil

4. What advice would you offer to aspiring voice actors trying to break into the industry?

The best advice I could give is to never stop trying if you want to become a voice actor just utilize tutorials take classes from actual va’s and also become versatile the more you keep altering your voice to the point where it sounds on recognizable you become versatile and it gives you more roles for more work by other companies or just other people that just wants to make something that they care about Small note make sure you drink water because your throat is going to hurt after a day of recording

5. Tell us about your creative journey?

Very simple and straight to the point I grew up in a household where both my parents were artists my dad used to make music my mom does a lot of art both aspects of my family are part of me I compose my own music while also utilizing other compositions in my work in ways that actually makes sense and in terms of art me drawing has gotten so interesting to the point where I just decided I want to become an animator and as of now it’s going very well it’s time consuming but it’s worth it

6. Goals for 2024?

Becoming a more well known and famous YouTuber and making a name for themselves Making a lot of money online through whatever projects I do and utilize that money to provide not just for myself but people who are less fortunate than myself and maybe charities too Give other content creators online support whenever it’s needed and most importantly Living life in general

7. What are your thoughts on the voice acting community?

My thoughts on the voice acting community is very simple I like it fine enough it’s not perfect but to be fair nothing really is perfect in this world but some of the folks I’ve talked to in the community have been genuinely good people and the last thing I would want is to lose those set of good people

8. Biggest success story as a voice actor?

The biggest success story as a voice actor is the fact that people actually enjoy what I do

9. What are your thoughts on All Ages of Geek anything you’d like us to change/do?

I don’t know anyone on this account too well so there really isn’t much I can say here

10. Where can folks support your work?

Where folks can support my work is somewhat of a challenge With me being a small YouTuber it can be kind of hard to present my work to a lot of people especially when it won’t even generate a lot of views or money or even subscribers for instance but I’m on YouTube as Arnold Stark 123 the same name applies to my Twitter and Instagram that is where you’ll get most of the info based on whatever projects I do whether it be videos animations or just random stuff that I find interesting And if anyone does end up seeing all of this and want to support my work please subscribe and rewatch a bunch of my videos I work really hard on them and a lot of people do say that I’m worth watching I also preserve public domain content too whenever necessary so check those out as well thank you
