When I first got Brain Age, I was like, “No, ew, education…” but wow, was I wrong! Once I gave it a shot, I couldn’t put it down. This Nintendo DS gem managed to make learning not just tolerable but genuinely fun.

With over a dozen easy-to-control numerical and verbal exercises, Brain Age challenges your mind in just minutes a day. Tracking my progress with the calendar and seeing my Brain Age score improve was incredibly satisfying. And let’s not forget the catchy music that keeps things light and enjoyable while you work your brain.

Even better? The separate sudoku mode! It’s perfect when you want to kick back with some puzzles after all that brain training.

What surprised me the most was how much I actually learned. More games need to follow in Brain Age’s footsteps—it’s proof that educational games can be both fun and effective! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out!
