We had the pleasure of chatting with the artist SuperPeachy64 all about their work!
1. Tell us what it is like to being an artist?
Doing an art is mostly just a hobby and side gig for me. I work professionally in IT Support Services, so its kind of a stress reliever as well. I try to draw as much as I can everyday, but there times I do need to take breaks to re-cooperate myself.
2. What inspires your work?
I look up to many different artists and friends, but I’ve been really into retro anime specifically from the 80s and 90s like The Slayers, Dirty Pair, Gunsmith Cats, etc for inspiration.
3. How long have you been creating?
I’ve always loved drawing as a child, but I got serious about it when I was around 14. I did struggle during those times as I felt I haven’t been improving myself when I was like 18-19. My family and friends have always been supportive for me so that kept me going. To this day I am still working to improve myself both as an artist and as a person.
4. Goals for 2023?
I am currently working on a short comic. I am writing the script for it and wanted to move to actually sketching it out, but because of work I need to find a good balance with that. Not giving up though!
5. What are your long-term goals as an artist?
I am wanting to work on bigger pieces than the ones I am currently working on and I would like to work with a game studio in the near future for character designs. Other than that, just keep doing what I’m doing!
6. What are you currently working on?
I mostly do fanart of different characters from anime and video games, so its sporadic. However, I am working on some ideas for my Chaser Riley concept like posters and more. Stay tuned for more information in the near future!
7. Where can people support your work?
You can follow me on https://twitter.com/PitCloverDraws where I am mostly active, but you can also support me at the following:
