We had the chance to interview Vtuber Lunae the Forgotten Moon all about their work!

1. What inspired you to become a Vtuber?

Ever since I was young, I’ve always enjoyed watching anime after school and late at night on weekends. A content creator by the name of Koefficient got me specifically into vtubing with his videos sharing vtuber clips and lore. I thought the top vtubers were absolutely adorable and wanted to be the same.

2. Tell us about your model!

I am Lunae the Forgotten Moon. Long ago when civilizations were young I was worshipped by humanity, often was sung praises for things like a bountiful harvest. But as humanity grew and progressed, they began to no longer look up to the night sky. So fearing non-existence I have come to Earth to remind humanity, and to take back my glory as a once reverent moon. As far as the form I’ve taken, the first life form that I came across and befriend when arriving here, was an adorable little fluffy fellow that has become my companion…I thought all humans looked like this…though I’m beginning to believe I might have made an oopsie..

3.What is the best part about being a Vtuber?

I believe it is the community so far. If you put yourself out there and interact with others more often than not others will be so kind and supportive of you. It’s really been a great community.

4. What would you tell someone who wants to become a Vtuber? Any advice?

Save up a lot of money(hahaha)… but really don’t feel bad about lack of growth, it’s not a race and you’re not competing against others. Make friends and enjoy your time.

5. Goals for this year?

5. I would really love to hit partner by the end of the year. Or having a very active chat spamming emotes, I really love seeing Peepos I think they’re adorable.
