It’s painfully obvious that voice actor Zach Aguilar is just as passionate about Demon Slayer as the fans of the show can be. Speaking at FAN EXPO Boston on Sunday, Aguilar talked about his dedication to the work of creating Tanjiro and the place it holds in his voice acting journey.
“This last season has probably been the most difficult stuff I’ve ever had to do in my life. I think Tanjiro will probably take the cake for the most difficult character I’ll ever play in my voice acting career. Already I’m able to say that because of what’s to come in the series, what I’ve had to portray so far. Honestly just holding my voice together to be able to do this show has been a great challenge for me.
“I’ve almost lost my voice three times working on this recent season because of just trying to give every single moment 110% of what I can do. So yeah, Demon Slayer has definitely been challenging.”
