After many trials and tribulations, the group has finally arrived at the temple of Klothys – only for Aslan to disappear, escorted by a lampad under Klothys’ guidance into the underworld he hopes to avoid. While the rest of the group waits for his return, the leonin must brave the Tartyx River and face the god of passage, Athreos, as well as find out what it is he must do in order to save himself. The answers lie with the past of his people, and as he enters the ashen plains where leonin find themselves after death, tensions begin to boil in the world of the living…
