In the prologue of How to Give birth! The main character (Ayami Kazama) a young romance manga and Autobiographical comic essay artist is explaining how she had no idea how children were made prior to her time in university. Then she married Azure Konno-San, another manga artist, and started her journey on how to have a kid! 

Chapter one starts off with a flash back of Ayami Kazama and Azure Konno-San when they were only dating. She asks him about what he wants in the future and what kind of life he wants to live after they get married. He soon reveals he wants a kid!

She soon finds out she is infertile and has to go to the doctors and resolve this before she can get pregnant! Ayami Kazama starts regularly seeing her doctor. He starts telling her what they are going to have to do so she and her husband can have a baby. He starts her off by having her fill out a basal temperature chart and by…

This leaves her very embarrassed! Once everything is fixed the doctor suggested that they have sex so she can get pregnant.  

 I Don’t Know How to Give Birth! is a perfect manga to read if you are interested in learning more about what pregnancy is really like. Although it is just one individual’s insight on Child Birth it still gives you information on what the experience is like. The characters show realness and inform you that you do not have to be an expert on pregnancy to become a parent! Doctors, family, and friends are there to help you through your journey.
