1. How did you come up with the idea?
I’ve always wanted an Indie smash bros. While I have seen a few real attempts such as Bounty Battle, Blade Strangers, and Indie Pogo, none of them have ever felt definitive y’know? The majority of my favorite games of all time are indie titles, such as Hollow Knight, Celeste, Shovel Knight, Shantae, and a plethora of others, so I wanted to try and celebrate that y’know? While I don’t have the resources to make a fighting game of my own I thought the next best thing would be to make a concept, so I went to this really great Fandom site called Fantendo, where I’ve seen a bunch of people publish their unique and amazing ideas. At the moment, my game represents over 60 different Indie titles that I think everyone should check out if given the opportunity.
How long have you been doing pixel art and what inspired you to start?
Ever since I was a little kid! I remember playing Virtual Console games on my old Wii and being fascinated with the pixel art style a plethora of games had on there. I think the earliest I started was around 2014-2015 I believe? I feel like I’ve come a long way I look forward to improving alongside some of my pixel buddies!
4.what are your plans for 2021?
Pretty much the same as what I’ve been doing. Do pixel art and continue to work on this little project of mine!
