1.What inspired you to be a writer?

ABOUT JOHN TURIANO
Recently retired from over 18 years of Software Development, I am now able to focus my full attention on writing and publishing. I live in upstate New York with my wife, Sue. We have two adult children living close by. When not writing, I thoroughly enjoy hiking, biking and camping. Recent trips took Sue and I to: Puerto Rico, where we hiked the El Yunque National Rain Forest; Alaska where we visited Denali National Park; and Mexico where we hiked the ruins at Tulum and explored a river cave.
As an independent author I am responsible for every aspect of each book: from concept to writing to marketing and promotion. I think you will find independent authors do not fit into any typical writing style and have unique ideas that will surprise you. Give an Indie Author a try!
