We had the pleasure of talking to artist Kailene!

1. How long have you been creating art?

eating art? > I have been creating art since I can remember holding a crayon or a pencil. I know it’s really cliché, but I have always loved creating something off with colors. I do accept that I began to take more seriously art when I was about almost 9 or 10 year-old, looking out for art styles that I liked and studying them

2. What advice would you give to new artists?

Art it’s really more about discipline rather than other thing. We always keep learning. Yes, we may need talent, but that can come if you keep going forward, being patient with yourself but also pushing your abilities to learn more and make them increase.

3. What is your favorite thing about being an artist?

That I can create different scenarios that won’t or can’t happen. Imagination it’s the only limit.

4. Goals for 2023?

I was on hiatus for a almost two years, so I want to make my social media pages alive again. I also want to open a little shop, maybe on Redbubble or something. And I also want to begin to learn animation, alongside how to draw backgrounds. That’s the best part of art, you never stop learning ha.
