1. What inspires your work?

Many things inspire me. My friends, family, my own feelings, and the supportive and fun artists I know online! As well as the artists I look up to, it keeps me motivated hoping I could be like them in the future.

2. What is your biggest success story as an artist?

For as long as I can remember, everyone, including my own family, doubted me, saying I won’t go anywhere with how I draw. Having my art be seen by many people online, starting commissions, and proving them all wrong, they soon started boasting about me and congratulating me. Being acknowledged rather than discouraged was all I ever wanted from my family and peers.

3. What inspired you to start creating?

I’ve always loved animated shows and movies ever since I was a very young child. My father loved cartoons and we would always watch them together. Both my parents were hobby artists, so it was almost expected of me to start creating as a hobby. I knew the impact art has to everyone, and I wanted to inspire and entertain other people with my own, and that’s why I wanted to pursue it rather than have it as a hobby.

4. Advice for new artists?

Keep going! Art takes a LOT of patience and persistence. Every artist is unique. There are no rules in art, except to have fun. And to always take advantage of your resources.

5. Goals for 2023?

I wish to be accepted into a college that specializes in arts and animation, and to continue growing as an artist. I wish to earn money and help my family financially and start becoming independent.
