On November 15th, 2022, WayForward and Arc System Works released a new video game: RWBY: Arrowfell. This game is a 2D Platformer, much like the game series Shantae, where you play as Team RWBY in Atlas and you can switch between the characters because each has a special ability.
However on November 30th of 2022, RWBY’s Twitter dropped a short one minute and twenty-eight second video of Ruby Rose herself playing RWBY: Arrowfell. Lindsey Jones, the voice of Ruby Rose, was using a model and was actually playing the game 100% in character as Ruby.
Not much more to say about this other than that this was quite the way to promote your new game. I have never seen anything like this, and it did give me a good chuckle. Also, the reception to this seem to be positive! Some people are even asking for more of this. If Rooster Teeth does decided to do more, maybe it will become a regular thing. Who’s to say?
