2. What inspires your work?

My love for anime and great storytelling! It’s something that I’ve always been passionate about ever since I was a child. It’s what drew me to anime to begin with. I was always so amazed by how writers’ minds work in crafting such intricate story lines. As I stated before, some of the anime that inspired my works were Gangsta. And Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom. I love crime, thriller, and action anime and always ones that have twists. So expect a good amount of them in my story.

3. As a writer how do you deal with writer’s block?

Hm, that’s a hard one because I usually don’t deal with this. My mind is going all that time. I’m literally always thinking about the next chapter, how I can improve the story and writing, and what would make me say yea this is good if i were to be reading or watching something. I also wouldn’t have things as clean if it wasn’t for my editor Kendall Cunningham which is a big help with fixing some major issues in my writing.

4. What is one piece of advice you would give to new creatives?

Just create, create what you love. Don’t wait for approval or for someone else to put you on, life just doesn’t work like that. See your flaws and how you can improve. You should always be trying to learn new things and sharpen your skills, and listening to constructive criticism will help in the long run even if you don’t want to hear it at the moment. At the end of the day just make what you want. I’ve had people tell me even if I did start something it would go nowhere. Use it as fuel to prove them wrong.

5. What has been your biggest success as a creator?

Hm. well my biggest success is yet to come, but if we are going to talk about as a creator in general. I have been a musician and producer for about 18 years now. So I guess, I’ve done some work with King Vader and Netflix, also some early work with Roll 7 and devolver digital for not a hero’s playstation release. I do have something coming up but can’t speak on it just yet, but I feel my biggest success is coming soon.
